On the night of May 31st breaking June 1, 2022, God's mercy found me worthy of yet another second chance. The Lord God saved me from a fire situation. That was how the song, Such an Honour came about. Each time I think back, I know of a truth that it could only be God that saved me on that fateful day. I count it to be such a great honour that the host of heaven notices me in the midst of the billions around the world to deliver me! 😭😭

In Jer 33:3 and Psalm 50:15, the Lord Himself encourages His children to call on Him in their time of trouble, and He will answer them and show them great things. Call On My Name is heaven’s open cheque that says fix whatever amount you need and it will be done. I urge every listener to ponder on every line of this song. On December 11, I was scheduled to preach a sermon at the Asokoro SDA Church. That morning, I had prepared a sermon titled “I Have No Man” derived from John 5:1-9.
But as I and my niece drove to church that morning, something unfortunate happened that prevented me from preaching the sermon.
I have never experienced anything like what happened that day. We were in a gridlock for over 6 hours.
I was only able to find my way back home around 3:35 p.m. Later, we got the news that a trailer conveying timber had fallen and blocked the road causing serious gridlock.
The next day, while I sat at the dining table reminiscing on the previous day’s event, the inspiration to write the sermon as a song came and I wrote and titled it, At Bethesda.””

The summary of this song is that most times, much as people could be praying, and waiting with anxious expectation for an answer, fear, unbelief and most often,
sin could become the barrier to their breakthrough.
But thanks be to God for His grace and unmerited favour that looks beyond our weaknesses to see our need, and provide the needed solution. Hallelujah!!
